Fully formed in the summer of 2021, Lady Groove and the Get Downs is a seven piece band hailing from Palatine, IL that mixes funk, jam, pop, and rock influences into a diverse catalog of originals and covers ranging from Aretha to Phish and everywhere in between. The Get Downs, consisting of Drew DelRosario on guitar, Brian Roberts on bass, Chris Schwarz on tenor saxophone, Lei Wang on keyboard and alto saxophone, Natalie Hartnett on backup vocals and the dynamic drumming of Kyle Tarpinian, lay a foundation of energy and soul for the powerful vocals of Katie Nauss as Lady Groove.
