Major Climb

Major Climb is a dynamic four-piece band known for their funky reggae fusion sound. With a repertoire consisting of a diverse mix of lesser-known covers and original compositions, their music often gets people on their feet. Drawing from their extensive fifteen-year history of live performances, Major Climb's shows are characterized by a keen attention to groove and an ability to deliver polished renditions of classic funk hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and beyond. Audiences can expect to hear influences from iconic artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Wonder, Sly and the Family Stone, Talking Heads, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Cliff, Toots and the Maytals, New Mastersounds, James Brown, as well as some more off kilter 90’s bands like Presidents of the United States, Sublime, and Ween.
